YES!!!
First things first, Happy Fourth Of July to everyone. This day we celebrate being American, through the good and the bad, we can be thankful that we live in a country where we can express our love and sometimes our disappointments for this country without fear of oppression.
Now on to the fun stuff. After a year hiatus we launched another shuttle today. Discovery STS-114 mission ULF1.1 to the International Space station. What a beautiful sight it was as it cleared the tower. The words: "We have MECO" were a joy to hear. Others may wax more poetically than I can, but I just want to say that such a gorgeous launch as happened today on this day, celebrating this nation's Birth was incredible.
